The Government would get lots of taxes that they could use for drug education and giving resources to fight the more harmful drugs. But as with alcohol and Systemet, we see that such things has not stopped achohalism in Sweden. I doubt the government would use the money wisely. Side note: as an American I think it is strange that Sweden lumps all taxes in the same pot (If I understand it correctly), instead of earmarking certain taxes for specific purposes.
