We are two s-x workers & members of Red Umbrella Sweden looking to interview other s-x workers about any experiences with the Swedish police. We are one of the total of 12 organisations in 10 countries in Europe and central Asia who are involved in the project Accessing Justice: the role of policing in s-x workers’ experience of justice (working title). This is a project by the European S-x Worker Alliance ESWA, which our organisation is a member of.

The privacy & safety of s-x workers participating is our priority! You can of course be anonymous when being interviewed. Since there is funding specific for this project we can also offer you 500 SEK as a compensation for your time.

This is Feminist Participatory Action Research (FPAR) framework) that seeks to understand how s-x workers are treated when coming into direct contact with the police and law enforcement. The project is a continuation of ESWA’s Rights not Rescue programme, which was conducted in 2019 - 2020.

All interviews are made with s-x workers by s-x workers and a crucial part of this research project is about increasing the capacity of ESWA’s s-x working members. Through this project, s-x workers will develop - or expand on our already existing - research skills, which we can then utilise for our own advocacy work in our organisations’ countries.
